It does have Beatrix in a bikini though (I'm more of a Lani fan personally) This is from the same circle that did Strawerry Shake I think they have one more FF9 doujin floating around somewhere - another one for the to-do list it seems.

Release #072 - Final Fantasy IX

[Strange Scans] grudgingly admits a bias towards Final Fantasy Nine with this doujinshi - name unknown. I think I had the name, but - I lost it. If any translators out there know please let me know (also for the rest of my Unknown doujinshi - that would be great) so I can update the files. For now enjoy this comedic doujin with Eiko as the main character.

The definitive collection part two: The revenge

[Strange Scans] is proud to present the second part of an earlier re-release effort. This time the lucky doujins are posts #011, #012, #013, #014, and  #015. As with the first historic pack of re-releases these are at an improved size and editing (and including a missing back cover). This about wraps up the re-editing that I was intending to do, I am unsure if I will go back and re-do translations - perhaps if the demand is there. For now though chick chack check these out!

Release #071 - Tsukihime

[Strange Scans] gets the job done with this 64 page beast by the name of 吸血衝動 指ちゅぱ理論. It's NSFW for a Ciel → Shiki rape scene. It also contains a pretty cool Inital D/Tsukihime crossover, which is why I bought it in the first place actually. I tried my hardest to keep the quality at my usual standard, but this entire book was literally yellow with ageing. Looks like whoever had this before me left it in sunlight or something - remember to store your doujin or anime Cel's away from sunlight and preffereably in comic book bags!

Release #070 - Final Fantasy IX

[Strange Scans] avoids the pitfalls of crystal math and danger dust to bring you yet another fantastic Final Fantasy IX doujin! This one is called 'Life Color' - it kind of irks me to see color and not colour. But, I'm not going to be a dick about it if thats the way the original artist has done it. Also this is a much more recent doujin, 2010 infact. There are a few recent ones floating around, inspired by Dissidia if I'm any guess. Also, yes, I am also aware there are a lot of new yaoi ones floating around, they're not really my focus though.

Release #069 FMG - Final Fantasy IX

[Strange Scans] goes the hard yards to bring you yet another quality Final Fantasy IX doujin, it is the one they call FMG! (I'm not sure what that stands for)

Seriously though this one is pretty nice. It's about A5 size, and has some sketchy, unique and really nice art in it. I haven't seen this one pop up on ebay either. So perhaps it's a rare find?

Release #068 - Final Fantasy IX

[Strange Scans] delves deep into the Final Fantasy IX fandom yet again with another fantastic release! This time the doujin in question goes by the name 'Private Soul'. There are a lot of heavily pointed chins ahead, no real dig at the artist but, I'm just saying. Also I think this particular circle has done a few FFIX doujinshi. I'll have to look at tracking them down some time.

 And Lani from Final Fantasy IX who again - has a criminally low amount of fanart.

Yet another SHD release! What can I say, this guy is super quality.

The definitive collection

[Strange Scans] is proud to present for the first time a high definition re release.  This one time only pack consists of releases #002 #003 #004 #009 and the post modern classic #010.

Seriously though I was flipping through some of my earliest releases and well, I'll admit they aren't my best work. So I went back and cut them again from the raws at a higher size 780px -> 1200px and saved them in PNG 24 as opposed to jpeg. This of course means that the file size has also gone up a fair bit so 56k beware, but if you want these in a better size then look no further.

So you may be wondering why I've been quiet the last few weeks.

Well, I've had a pretty big computer upgrade. Changed OS (XP -> windows 7) and lost my old copy of photoshop. So I've spent the last few days getting everything back together, re-installing all of my old programs, and unstalling and triming a ton of junk that seems to come with everything (I'm looking at you msn)

It'll be business as usual in a while and I have some really nice quality stuff to get through. Until then though please stick around and enjoy the scenery and/or filler posts that I make until I get things up and running again.
