The definitive collection

[Strange Scans] is proud to present for the first time a high definition re release.  This one time only pack consists of releases #002 #003 #004 #009 and the post modern classic #010.

Seriously though I was flipping through some of my earliest releases and well, I'll admit they aren't my best work. So I went back and cut them again from the raws at a higher size 780px -> 1200px and saved them in PNG 24 as opposed to jpeg. This of course means that the file size has also gone up a fair bit so 56k beware, but if you want these in a better size then look no further.

Black Magic M-66: Part 1

Okay so lets have a look at some items I have in my collection that I probably won't be scanning. The focus of this post is (spoilers within this link) Black Magic M-66 a OVA from none other than Masamune Shirow.

The rest of this post is after the jump because I don't want to cover the front page with it.

Update/filler Part 1

Hi guys Superkawaii‼ here,

(that shouldn't be autoplaying, tell me if it is)

So you may be wondering why I've been quiet the last few weeks.

Well, I've had a pretty big computer upgrade. Changed OS (XP -> windows 7) and lost my old copy of photoshop. So I've spent the last few days getting everything back together, re-installing all of my old programs, and unstalling and triming a ton of junk that seems to come with everything (I'm looking at you msn)

It'll be business as usual in a while and I have some really nice quality stuff to get through. Until then though please stick around and enjoy the scenery and/or filler posts that I make until I get things up and running again.

love from,
Superkawaii‼

Release #065 - Darkstalkers

[Strange Scans] is proud to present, a Darkstalkers doujinshi (name unknown)!

There are a ton of really nice Darkstalker doujinshi out there, particularly with Lei Lei. I might track them down when I have the time/money. I'd also be interested to know where the photo behind the characters on the front cover is from - france?

Enjoy!

[Strange Scans] stealthily presents to you ...

A Metal Gear Solid (2) doujinshi 'Survival File 3' Look at that art, look at it. I've loved Yoji Shinkawa's work ever since I saw it in a games magazine in my youth. Also a lot, of the MGS doujinshi out there are yaoi - like half. Enjoy!

Back on track though, enjoy the scan!

Ps: I'm going to be cross posting on E-Hentai from now on, so you can have a quick browse. If you like it let me know.

Release #061 - Ghost In the Shell [Translation]

[Strange Scans] is proud to present, with the help of Umad.

Demolition Seraph, a Ghost in the Shell/Dominion Tank Police/Black Magic/Orion ... okay a Masamune Shirow centric doujinshi! From all the way back in 1996/7 (two dates exist in it so take your pick) These scans were done by the now defunct Euphoric-Visions site, so all hail them for the okay scans.

Enjoy!

Ps. Notice how it references a PSX game in there?

Commission - Black Lagoon

I've been a bit quiet for a while - but as usual I've been busy. I thought I'd branch out and commission some artwork, (which is a move I've been considering for a while) I went with joix (NSFW). Who is a pretty cool guy and puts out some really nice work and you should all go check his stuff out. Do you want to see ShenhuaxSawyer?

Of course you do - and you will, after the jump.
